Copy writing

I am able to undertake a wide range of copy writing commissions, including brochures, website content, press releases, newsletters, and flyers.  I am also happy to consider special assignments on an individual basis.

I am passionate about writing. I love to use carefully phrased language to build a unique and enticing image, without loss of subtlety.  I avoid the obvious platitude and am not content until I feel I have created a piece of work which will delight my client.

 

Copy Editing

I find this work challenging and hugely satisfying.  It is rather like a gardener who is asked to bring order to an overgrown garden!  The garden itself stays the same but by stripping away unnecessary vegetation, a beautiful manicured garden emerges.

In the same way, I like to bring clarity and accuracy to the text in as few words as possible so that the meaning penetrates to the heart of the matter.

Working closely with clients, enables me to understand them, their business and their brief and this process is vital for a successful outcome.  I do not send an invoice until my client is totally happy with my work.
